The Clinic
When you come for treatment we will do our best to put you at ease. The treatment rooms are very dynamic. In addition to being able to accommodate people of all abilities, each room also has a unique purpose in carrying you through your physiotherapy journey. All team members work together to take a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. Often a mix of manual therapy, soft tissue work, and other modalities is the most effective treatment plan. Versatility maximizes your time with us saving you from the expense of a stagnant and prolonged course of therapy.

Assessment & Diagnosis
On your first visit you can expect to spend about an hour. Before your treatment, we will talk about what brought you into the office. The treating clinician will ask questions and do some tests to best pinpoint the root cause of your discomfort, and together you'll make a plan from there.

Treatment
During your follow-up treatments we will work from the plan we developed together. Treatment can be intense, but we will make sure you are comfortable while you progress and you are always in control of your care.

Continued Care
After treatment, you might find you have “homework”! We will make sure you know what to do between visits to complement your in-office sessions and get you feeling fit faster. After all, the goal of treatment is for you to not need treatment anymore. Working at home can be a key component to being successful in your physio journey.

Consultant Physiotherapist
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Salisbury University, Salisbury, Maryland in 1999, and then continued on, graduating with a Master's degree in Animal Science from the University of Kentucky in 2001. After moving to Washington, D.C. and working as a biologist for the National Institutes of Health, I wanted a more direct impact on patient care. I chose to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Wheeling Jesuit University, Wheeling, West Virginia, graduating with distinction in 2009. While living in Cincinnati, Ohio with my wife Lauren and our growing family I worked in many healthcare settings; including the prestigious Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, long term care and rehabilitation centers, lead physiotherapist for professional sport teams, consulting concussion specialist for The University Of Cincinnati orthopeadics division, and private therapist to athletes and performers at sporting and concert venue, US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have had the opportunity to serve on multiple review boards and research development committees. Lauren and I decided to move to lovely Peebles with our four children in December of 2017. I'm thankful to have chosen such a supportive community to raise my family.

Practice Manager
Some of you may know me as Chad's wife and practice manager. When Chad is working with patients you will find me behind the scenes getting their administrative work done. It's usually me on the other side of your emails and phone calls, doing my best to keep everything operating smoothly. When I'm not working for the practice you might see me running around with our four children, or working at High Street Opticians. Before coming to Peebles, I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in May of 2000 from Salisbury University, Salisbury, Maryland. Perinatal nursing was my passion. I was a Registered Nurse for 17 years across the spectrum of women's and infant health. During that time I enjoyed the privilege of providing nursing care to families in many Labor and Delivery Units, Mother and Infant Post Natal Care Units, Neonatal Intensive Care Units, and High-Risk Obstetrical Units across America. Working with Chad, I still get the chance to play a small part in helping people navigate through their healthcare journey.

Please note that a new episode is opened if a former or existing patient seeks treatment for a new issue. A separate 60 minute evaluation and treatment would need to take place to properly diagnose a new complaint. As stated elsewhere, I will never refuse care to a patient because of economic barriers. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have a special circumstance you would like to discuss.
